Samsung announced a candybar QWERTY device on Sprint today. Dubbed as Intrepid, the phone is targeted at business users coz of its worldwide roaming capabilities and QWERTY keyboard to handle everyday emailing and messaging. The phone runs on Windows Mobile 6.5 with a customizable Today screen and features a 2.5-inch touchscreen display, 3.2MP camera, Bluetooth, quick access to social networking sites, Wi-Fi and microSD card slot (up to 32GB). Intrepid also supports flurry of Sprint services like Sprint NFL Mobile, Music Store etc.
Intrepid will start selling from Oct 11 for $149.99 on 2-year contract and after a $100 mail-in-rebate.
