Nintendo started rolling out the v4.2 firmware update for Wii which didn’t add new features but tried to kill the homebrew. Well, their move has now been successfully countered by homebrew hackers but legitimate owners are in a fix. Users who have never attempted to mod their consoles are reporting of bricked Wiis after the v4.2 update.
