Sony Ericsson Gandalf will “put your ears in control”

UPDATE: Its official.
Sony Ericsson will unveil its new accessory today but Mobile-review has spilled the beans by not only revealing it but giving it a detailed preview. Codenamed as Gandalf, it’s a regular looking earphone but the distinguishing factor here is the integration of sensors. The sensors help the earphone to automatically play or pause the music when the user plugs or unplugs it from his ears. It’s kinda nifty and clearly emphasizes on SE’s “Put your ears in control” campaign.
As for the preview, Mobile-review tried out with few SE phones and the novel function worked flawlessly. Expect it to be cost around $40.
