In addition of launch four notebooks, HP also added something to its netbook range. HP announced the Mini 311 netbook that is powered by Nvidia’s ION platform. The 11.6-inch netbook brings the power of high-definition playback with an ability to output full HD via an HDMI-out or view at 1366×768 on its small screen. HP will be bundling the netbook with Windows XP and integrates ArcSoft SimHD that helps to upscale standard definition content to near HD quality.
But if style appeals you more than performance, HP also has Mini 110 netbook designed by Tord Boontje. With the help of HP’s Imprint 3-D Surface technology, the layers are printed in such a way that it looks like a 3-Dimensional design. Rest of the specs remain the same except for the new OS, which in this case is Windows 7 Starter edition.
The Mini 311 starts from $399 while the Mini 110 by Studio Tord Boontje goes for the same price.
