China Unicom announced their 2009 interim results today along with an acknowledgment of the deal with Apple. Both the parties have entered into a three year agreement and the iPhone (two versions) launch is expected in the last quarter of this year. Though other details are expected to be divulged soon, it will be interesting to see how will iPhone cope with the competitive sophisticated knockoffs that thrive in the Chinese market.
