Sony’s DSC-TX1 and DSC-WX1 digital cameras will soon grace the Indian stores. These point-and-shoots are different from the rest of the clan because it integrates Exmor R back illuminated CMOS sensor technology that doubles up the sensitivity of the camera effectively helping to improve photos in low-light conditions.
Both the cameras are equipped with Sony’s BIONZ imaging processor, Sweep Panoramic feature, 10.2MP sensor, Optical SteadyShot, Intelligent Auto that adjusts settings according to environment, face detection, Smile Shutter, Pet mode and 720p video recording (up to 2GB or 29 mins).
The difference between both the offerings are lens and LCD, which is Carl-Zeiss Vario-Tessar in case of TX1 with 4x telescopic zoom and 3-inch touchscreen LCD while WX1 has Sony G lens with 5x optical zoom and 2.7-inch LCD.
As for the pricing, TX1 will cost Rs. 20,990 and WX1 will go for Rs. 19,990.
