Sony preparing 250GB PS3 Slim

Do you know why eagle-eyed bloggers were unable to catch Sony’s latest and not-so-surprising PS3 Slim console? Because they submitted the PS3 Slim application under a different name – Sand Dollar Enterprise. Anyways, keeping the smart naming issue aside, the documents in the filing reveal another interesting tidbit. Apparently, in addition to the yesterday announced 120GB PS3 Slim model, a 250GB variant (CECH-2001B model number) is also in the works.
Sony did not confirm about a higher capacity PS3 Slim but if our guess is right, we might see the capacious PS3 Slim at the TGS next month.
