Microsoft has finally announced the pricing of Windows 7 Family Pack and Windows Anytime Upgrade options. Starting from October 22, users will be able to buy a Family Pack for just $149.99 that will carry three licenses of Windows 7 Home Premium OS. The pack will be in limited numbers so be sure to snag one early.
MS also released the pricing for the users wanting to upgrade the Windows 7 OS to a higher version. The Windows Anytime Upgrade (WAU) will allow users to upgrade to a higher Win 7 edition at a lesser price.
An upgrade from Starter to Home Premium Edition will cost a user $79.99 while from HP to Professional or Ultimate will cost $89.99 and $139.99 respectively.
The WAU will be available in 13 countries – Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK and US.
