Creative Zii EGG announced

Here it is fellas. The Zii EGG has been given the official treatment by Creative. The PMP is powered by ZiiLABS ZMS-05 SoC and really packs a punch to give iPod Touch and Zune HD a tough time. Before going through the full spec list some notable features it boasts are its 3.5-inch capacitive multi-touch display, dual cameras including an HD one, 1080p output to HDTV via HD cable, GPS, Wi-Fi and 32GB internal memory which can expand to 64GB with a SDHC card. Oh yes, it’s currently powered by Plaszma OS but is also Android compatible.
For the price, it goes for as low as $199 (bulk buy) or devs can get the Plaszma SDK for $399 which also includes the 32GB Zii EGG PMP.

Dapreview’s staffer was amongst the first ones to get it and he has posted his first impression about the device. He reckons even though the dev units are not as brushed up as the final product will be, the Zii is the best sounding Creative player, even without the EQ.
