Apple Tablet PC coming as early as Sept. or late as Q1 2010

Take your pick on whom you’re gonna believe because two contradictory reports have emerged claiming the launch of Apple’s rumored Tablet PC. First report comes from AppleInsider whose source says a 3G enabled 10-incher Tablet PC from Apple will be on its way after being continuously modified for the past 2 years. Their source, who has a “striking accuracy in Apple’s internal affairs” pins for a first quarter 2010 release.

On the other hand, Financial Times confirms from four sources that Apple is working with music publishers on a project called Cocktail. The FT report gels well with AppleInsider’s 10-inch claim but says that it will be more of a larger-sized iPod, trying to garner interest in music albums. FT aims for a September release so as to enable Apple to cash in on the upcoming Christmas holiday season.
