Archos unveiled number of products at a presser yesterday including three music players, one UMPC and three notebooks.
Starting with the DAPs, they unveiled Archos 3, Archos 2 Vision and Clipper. The full specifications are not revealed but Archos 3 seems to have a 3-inch touchscreen display, 8GB storage, voice recorder, accelerometer, stopwatch, calendar, a virtual wheel for navigation and volume control and an estimated 14 hours of battery life. It is priced at 100 Euros. Archos 2 Vision is a slider version of Archos 2 while Clipper tries to take on iPod Shuffle.
Archos also expanded its netbook lineup with the inclusion of Archos 10s and launched an ultraportable 13-inch notebook as well as a classmate type PC called Satchel (pictured above). Archos 10s goes head to head with Archos 10 in terms of specs but wins because of its slimmer and lighter chassis. The ultraportable Archos 13 features 13.2-inch LED backlit screen, 120GB HDD and a 10-cell battery. Satchel is Archos’ Intel Classmate-esque PC. It is equipped with a 9-inch screen, 1GB RAM, SD card slot, webcam, Windows XP and large blue handle.
Finally, it’s the Archos 9 tablet. Contrary to the Android rumors, Archos 9 runs on Windows 7 and has an Intel Atom Z515 processor, 80GB HDD, Bluetooth and two DVB-T integrated antennas.
