Amazon is holding a press event tomorrow to unveil the next iteration of Kindle with a larger screen. Amazon’s move for a larger sized e-book reader comes in order to lure newspaper and academic textbook publishers to adopt the platform.
The first images that have surfaced, show Kindle DX (that’s what it’s called) with a large 9.7-inch display and will feature an integrated PDF reader and annotations support.
Amazon has also teamed up with few universities that will provide Kindles to select students preloaded with some textbooks.
