Analyst: Dell Mobile in China soon

Dell may kickstart its mobile business in China by offering a handset or two soon. According to analyst, Zhang Jun, Dell is in talks with China Mobile to offer a smartphone running on China’s TD-SCDMA band. The deal is said to close by August and could help bolster Dell’s existence in the Chinese mobile market.
The phone will be built on China Mobile’s modified Android platform dubbed as Open Mobile System (OMS), that allows China Mobile to integrate its own set of apps.
