A Chinese business daily is reporting that HTC’s Blackberry-esque Maple device might show its face at the upcoming CTIA expo next month. Apparently, HTC is in talks with four US operators to market and sell their phone.
According to a recent specs leak, Maple is expected to carry a 2.4-inch QVGA screen, 528MHz processor, 128MB/256MB RAM/ROM, 2 megapixel camera and WinMo 6.1 Standard OS.

Wow the looks of the mobile are awesome. but i wonder what would be the cost of this mobile phone in india. The only negative point i feel about this phone is the 2MP camera because nowadays 5MP cameras are available

The Maple is the follower of the Cavalier and that’s about all that we officially know. The handset is said to sport a user-friendlier keyboard, a trackball and an “Inner Circle” feature which will improve the way you communicate with your closest friends depending on the time of day and day of the week. We’ll be back to check this phone when official details will be available. Until then you have time to figure out if you want an HTC Windows Mobile QWERTY handset like the Maple or you’re more of a Berry kind of person.
