SingTel announces HTC Dream (G1) for Singapore and Australia

UPDATE: SingTel to sell HTC Dream from Feb 21.

Android powered HTC Dream will finally hit the Asia Pacific region with Australia and Singapore being the first recipients. SingTel and its wholly-owned Optus will bring the phone to Singapore and Australia respectively. HTC Dream better known as G1 has the same sliding QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, 3.2 megapixel camera and will benefit from SingTel’s fast 3.5G ready network.

SingTel is yet to announce price and release date for its homeland but Aussies will get this phone from Feb 16 with price varying for different plans.
