The day has finally come. Acer has given the 10.1-inch Aspire One the official acknowledgement. The specs sheet is the same with a 10.1-inch WSVGA LED backlit screen (1024X600 pixels), runs Windows XP Home and has up to 2GB RAM, 160GB HDD, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g and webcam. The optional part seems to be the Bluetooth and a choice between WiMAX or 3G.

The 10” Aspire One will be equipped with a 6-cell battery that claims to give up to 7 hours of battery life. Aesthetic changes include aerodynamic shaped metallic hinge with a colored accent, brushed-metal palm rest and glossy color options white, blue, red and black.

Acer did not reveal the exact price but said it will carry a 1-year warranty.
