LG Electronics delivered their promise today by announcing their second 8-megapixel phone dubbed as KC780. Going with a new form factor, LG has tried to put in almost every photography feature that Renoir has. It starts with a 13.9mm thin profile which houses an 8-megapixel Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens. It also boasts features like face/smile detection, light sensitivity up to ISO 1600 and automatic camera shutter with Smile Shot. LG has not let the video recording department to compromise for better pictures. LG-KC780 supports DVD resolution video recording.
With other conventional features also making the cut, they have integrated what they call is Smart Bluetooth. Smart Bluetooth can allow the phone to communicate with the PC to transform the phone’s camera into a webcam. Using webcam with Bluetooth means a user can move the camera anyhow until he is in the Bluetooth range. Smart Bluetooth can also be used to send and receive text messages on the PC.
Completing the package, Motion Sensing games also make its presence worthwhile. LG-KC780 will go on sale in November 2008, in Europe, later expanding to CIS and Asia, including India, Thailand, Hong Kong and China.
