UK will be the first one to get LG Renoir 8MP phone

LG Electronics has been running around and claiming KC910 aka Renoir as world’s first 8-megapixel touch screen phone which makes me think that their marketing department is completely unaware of their competitor’s development. Anyways with the launch of Renoir, LG will be right up on the 8-megapixel phone charts. The camera feature set is outstanding. It has got auto as well as manual focus, ISO sensitivity up to 1600, Xenon flash and face/smile/blink detection.
Other features comprise of a 3-inch touch screen (240 x 400 pixels), DivX support for video and Dolby for audio, GPS with geotagging, HSDPA, Bluetooth, microSD slot and TV-Out. LG has also included Wi-Fi which was desperately missing in Samsung’s offering.
