You read it right fellas. Guys from the stateside enjoy good internet speeds but it’s nothing when you compare it with the highest developed South Asian country, Japan. The result came after the participation of more than 230,000 residents in a survey carried out by Communications Workers of America for their Speed Matters campaign.
The average median download speed from 2007 to 2008 found was just a mere gain of 0.4mbps to 2.3mbps in the current year. Now if you think it’s really fast then think again because Japan’s average download speed is 63mbps.
Upload speed was around 430kbps.
