The word is not out from Nokia but a German website is taking pre-orders of this phone which is expected to come in two variants, black and silver. The site sells them for 831.20 Euros which comes to around 1069 USD.
UPDATE: Another German portal is selling the Sirocco Edition at a higher price which says that there will be no cam upgrade.

Wow! I’m looking forward to this one!
The current 8800 is a stunning phone to look at but is seriously lacking in features.
I hope the Sirocco Edition has atleast a 2MP Camera with expandable memory as that’s where the current model really falls down.
I get the feeling this phone is gonna cost a small fortune though grrr, still I expect Xpango.com will add it to their range of free phones you can get, which for me is a much better option than paying over a $1000 for a phone!!

I have the current 8800. This new one looks sexy!
So I just hope the battery life is better than my one. Tends to die within a few hours of regular use.
