Asus has launched the NUC 14 Essential, a compact, entry-level mini PC powered by the latest Intel Core N-series processors. This ultracompact system combines performance with enhanced energy efficiency, making it a considerable solution for everyday tasks. Its mini design supports a wide range of connectivity options, including Bluetooth 5.3 and Intel Wi-Fi 6E (Gig+), alongside the ability to power up to three 4K displays.

At the heart of the Asus NUC 14 Essential lies the latest Intel Core N-series processor, designed with up to eight efficient cores to deliver a 42% performance improvement over previous models. This makes it ideal for office workers, students, and content creators seeking smooth and responsive multitasking.

The design allows for easy access to internal components, making memory and SSD upgrades a breeze. Its 0.56-liter chassis is compact enough to fit into any workspace, office, or classroom. Additionally, a VESA mount kit enables convenient attachment to monitors, kiosks, or digital signage for versatile deployment.

Equipped with Intel Wi-Fi 6E (Gig+) and Bluetooth 5.3, the NUC 14 Essential ensures fast and secure data transfers. High-speed 6GHz channels enhance performance for tasks like file sharing, updates, and backups. Bluetooth 5.3 further enhances collaboration by delivering immersive audio for clear video conferencing and media playback.

Asus has engineered the NUC 14 Essential to surpass industry reliability standards, with rigorous testing that includes over 1,000 hours of bake testing at 100°C and 1,400 hours of humidity testing at 70°C. Platform security is also a priority, featuring a self-healing BIOS and enhanced manageability through the ASUS Control Center for remote IT support.

To elevate multitasking capabilities, the NUC 14 Essential supports triple 4K displays via HDMI, DisplayPort 1.4, and USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C.

The Asus NUC 14 Essential will be available starting Q1 2025. The pricing of the PC is not yet revealed.
