Tecno announces POVA 6 Pro 5G at MWC2024

TECNO has unveiled the POVA 6 Pro 5G at MWC Barcelona 2024. The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6080 5G processor and comes with 12GB RAM. It has a storage capacity of 256GB. Featuring a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, the display is TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certified.

POVA 6 Pro 5G comes with a massive 6000mAh battery claiming to deliver 11+ hours of gaming, 14+ hours of video streaming and 31+ hours of calling. Highlighting the battery life span, based on POVA’s 1.5 days of use per charge, the 6000mAh battery can deliver 6 years of reliable power solution, maintaining 80% of its original performance, with 15% higher battery cycle life than other brands as per the company. POVA 6 Pro 5G supports rapid 70W Ultra Charge, boosting the device from empty to 50% in just 20 minutes, and to 100% in just 50 minutes.

The design of the phone is very bold. The POVA 6 Pro 5G’s Dynamic Light Effect on the back cover brings the hardcore aesthetic to life, captivating users with its mesmerizing display. With 210 single-point controlled MiniLEDs, this feature creates an array of ring-shaped and propeller-shaped light effects, immersing users in a truly futuristic experience.

The POVA 6 Pro 5G comes with the first 108-megapixel ultra vivid main camera with a 32-megapixel dual-tone LED Flash front camera for selfies. The phone also supports Dolby Atmos.

POVA 6 Pro 5G comes with TECNO’s HiOS 14 features several updates including Game Space 4.0 and Game Assistant 4.0 for optimized gaming, and Infrared Remote Control.

TECNO POVA 6 Pro 5G will make its debut in the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, and India starting from the end of February. Following the initial release, it will become widely available across key regions, spanning Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. The pricing of the same has not been revealed yet.
