OnePlus launched its 2024 flagship, the OnePlus 12 series phones. OnePlus 12 is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 4th Gen Hasselblad Camera and a new 2K 120Hz ProXDR display and has a peak brightness of 4500nits. The phone also supports Dolby Vision. Additionally, for enhanced touch accuracy, OnePlus has provided Aqua Touch feature on the phone that can detect wet fingers and water droplets on the screen, significantly alleviating issues related to sweaty hands and mistouches during both intense gameplay and everyday use.
The OnePlus 12 takes the triple camera system from the flagship OnePlus 11 and elevates it with an industry-first 50-megapixel Sony’s LYT-808 wide-angle camera. Boasting a large ƒ/1.6 aperture and a 1/1.4-inch sensor size, this camera enhances depth of field while compensating for low light. It produces crystal-clear images with vibrant colors and intricate details, even in challenging low-light conditions. Additionally, the phone supports red glare and artifact reduction, ensuring the capture of true-to-life images.
As the initial OnePlus single-screen flagship featuring a best-in-class 3x periscope telephoto camera with 6x in-sensor zoom, the OnePlus 12 offers a photographic zoom range from 3x to 120x. This unparalleled periscope telephoto lens guarantees high image quality and faithfully replicates natural lights and shadows, enabling users to capture spontaneous moments and expressive portraits from a distance.
The ultra-wide camera of the OnePlus 12 boasts a 114° field of view in an 48-megapixel resolution, providing users with the capability to capture a broader perspective on life while retaining fine details.
The phone’s latest RAW HDR algorithm enhances its light control capabilities by understanding visual landscapes and harmonizing highlights and shadows. This results in optimal brightness, balanced exposure, authentic color saturation, and seamless vignette control, allowing the OnePlus 12 to capture DSLR-like images with impeccable resolution and precision.

It comes with 5400mAh battery that supports 100W SUPERVOOC fast charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging.
OnePlus 12R
The younger sibling in the series is the OnePlus 12R. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, OnePlus 12R comes with 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage and 16GB RAM + 256GB Storage. It retails for Rs. 39,999 and 45,999 respectively. At launch OnePlus bundles Buds Z2 free with the phones. OnePlus 12r features an 6.78-inch OLED display, boasting a resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate, is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The OnePlus 12R comes in Black and Cool Blue colours.
At the back, the triple-camera setup includes a 50-megapixel wide-angle primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera, offering versatile photography options. The front camera features a 16-megapixel lens, ensuring quality selfies and video calls. The device is equipped with a 5500 mAh battery supporting Super VOOC 100W fast charging via USB Type-C.
In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports dual SIMs, 5G and 4G networks in India, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C for mass storage and charging. OnePlus 12r also features a Infrared sensor.
OnePlus Buds3
Along with OnePlus 12 series phones. OnePlus also launched Buds3. These are a sleek glossy finish designed earbuds. Combining a 10.4mm woofer with the precision of a 6mm tweeter, the Buds 3 deliver an expansive 15Hz to 40KHz frequency response.
OnePlus Buds3 also feaure Active noise cancellation, providing an impressive 49 dB reduction in ambient noise. Users also have the flexibility to choose between two levels of ANC, offering 20 dB and 10 dB of noise cancellation respectively. Additionally, the earbuds support LHDC 5.0 Hi-Res audio, feature touch controls, come with an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance, and boast a total battery life of up to 44 hours.
The earbuds come in Blue and Gray colours. They retail for Rs. 5,499.
