Rockstar Games drops GTA VI trailer, releasing in 2025

Grand Theft Auto VI

The excitement is palpable around Grand Theft Auto VI and a leak earlier today forced Rockstar Games’ to release the maiden GTA VI trailer two days early. Little is known at the moment except Grand Theft Auto VI takes place in Vice City, Leonida and promises to be the “most immersive evolution” of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.

Grand Theft Auto VI will release on consoles first on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2025. Rockstar Games has not confirmed PC release date, which in all likeliness could be in 2026.
