ASUS Republic of Gamers Announces Strix XG16 Portable Gaming Monitor

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced Strix XG16, a portable 15.6-inch FHD (1920×1080) gaming monitor with a 144 Hz IPS panel and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility for smooth, tear-free gaming visuals. Designed for gaming on the go, the Strix XG16 features a built-in high-capacity battery, fold-out kickstand and tripod socket allowing gamers to play anywhere. The built-in high-capacity 7800 mAh battery provides up to three hours of viewing at 144Hz, and a quick-charge function enables up to two hours of use after just an hour of charging. With the kickstand, the Strix XG16 can be used for several viewing positions in both landscape and portrait orientations.

The monitor supports USB Type-C and Micro HDMI connectivity ensuring compatibility with various input sources, ranging from mobile devices to the latest gaming consoles. ROG Strix XG16 is the first ROG portable gaming monitor to be offered with an entirely white finish. The monitor is also available with a classic black finish. Both models feature a unique rear cover design that gives each a distinct look. The XG16AHP models in the lineup feature bundled ROG tripod for quick, setup.

ASUS ROG Strix XG16 will be available, starting with the XG16AHP-W from July and will retail at Rs. 60,999.
