Colorful has expanded its product line with the all-new CVN Guardian DDR5 memory for the newer generation CPUs. Currently, Intel’s 12-gen Alder Lake processors are the only ones that support DDR5 but it is reported that AMD’s Ryzen 7000 series will also support it. The CVN Guardian DDR5 will be available as single 16GB modules with a base frequency of 4800MHz or with 5600MHz and 6000MHz support for advanced users.
The RAM module features a silver-colored aluminum alloy heatsink for better thermal management and has an RGB lightbar at the top to complement gaming setups, which can be customized and synchronized via the iGame Center app. Moreover, the 6000Mhz variant also supports Intel XMP 3.0 for easy memory overclocking.
The COLORFUL CVN Guardian DDR5 memory is available in select regions in three different configurations – 16GB DDR5-4800MHz, 16GB DDR5-5600MHz, and 16GB DDR5-6000MHz are priced at $169, $239 and $279 respectively.
