Apple is all set to unveil its new lineup of MacBook Pros powered by its upgraded silicon – M1X. According to Bloomberg’s Marc Gurman, Apple will launch the new MacBooks this month along with a new high-end Mac mini. Currently Apple sells the MacBook Air with M1 chip. The new MacBook Pros will come with the new Apple M1X chip and will offer enhanced graphics intensive performance. The new silicon – M1X has been developed in two variations: both with 10 CPU cores (eight high-performance and two high-efficiency) and either 16 or 32 graphics cores.
The 2021 M1X MacBook Pro will also feature a design overhaul with more number of I/O ports and might have a smaller chasis. Reports also suggest that they’ll feature MagSafe magnetic charging and will get rid of the TouchBar. Display will get an upgrade to mini LED or might be offered as an option.
