Google announces Pixel Buds A-Series in India, will retail at Rs. 9,999

The True Wireless Buds market is already crowded. Recently Nothing ear(1) was launched and today we have Google announcing its Pixel Buds A-series in India. These TWS earbuds come with 12 mm dynamic speaker drivers and as per Google, they deliver full, clear and natural sound. To ensure a secure and ergonomic fit, Google has scanned thousands of ears to make Pixel Buds A-Series comfortable. Pixel Buds A-series also feature a spatial vent that reduces in-ear pressure and keeps the fit comfortable over time. Each earbud connects individually to the main device and has a strong independent transmission power to keep the sound clear and uninterrupted.

Pixel Buds A-Series sports an Adaptive Sound, which increases or decreases the volume based on the surroundings. This feature proves useful while moving from a quiet interior to a noisy street, or while jogging past a loud construction site.

For clear phone calls, Google Pixel Buds A-Series uses beamforming mics to focus on the voice and reduce outside noise. It also allows users to quickly switch back to their music after the call is over with a simple “Ok Google, play my music” command.

Pixel Buds A-Series delivers up to five hours of listening time on a single charge or up to 24 hours using the charging case. Moreover, a quick 15 minutes rest in the charging case provides users up to three hours of listening time. The earbuds are sweat and water-resistant, making them a perfect fit for an intense workout or a run in the rain.

Pixel Buds A-Series has built-in support for Google Assistant. Users can get quick hands-free help to check the weather, get an answer, change the volume, or have notifications read to them with a simple “Ok Google.”

Additionally, Pixel Buds A-Series also supports real-time translation in more than 40 languages (including Bengali, Hindi, and Tamil) right in their ear while using Google Pixel or Android 6.0+ phone. All the user needs to do is, say “Ok Google, help me speak (name of the language)” to start a conversation.

Pixel Buds A-Series works with any phone via Bluetooth connection as standard wireless earbuds. Features like the Google Assistant, Fast Pair, Find my Device, Adaptive Sound, and more work on all Pixel and Android devices running Android 6.0+.

Pixel Buds A-Series will be available on Wednesday, 25 August 2021 for Rs. 9,999 at Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and Tata Cliq, and will be coming to more retail outlets. There will also be special launch offers, which will be announced on sale day.
