iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 14.5 software update is now available across the globe. The new software available for the iPhone and iPad brings in a lot of new features including the privacy-friendly app tracking transparency feature that gives users more control over the data that apps are allowed to track on the device.
This major update also brings in support for AirTag — Apple’s new tracking device, ability to unlock phone with Face ID when you are wearing a mask and an Apple Watch (Series 3 and later). Moreover, there’s Siri improvements, new emojis, 5G optimisation, support for Xbox Series X|S and PS5 controllers and lots more.
