realme launches realme 8-series phones and other smart products

realme launched its realme 8 series smartphones. The series features, realme 8 Pro and realme 8 devices.

One of the highlights of the realme 8 Pro is that its the first realme smartphone equipped with a 108-megapixel primary camera. The Quad camera setup has a Samsung HM2 Sensor along with upgraded ultra-clear 108-megapixel mode and a 119° ultra-wide-angle lens. The realme 8 Pro’s camera offers two World’s first feature in a smartphone- Starry Time-lapse Video and Tilt-shift Time-lapse Video. It also features 3X in-sensor zoom, tilt-shift photography mode, new starry mode and many new portrait modes.

The device features a 16-megapixel in-display selfie camera. realme 8 Pro comes with a 4500 mAh battery with a 50W SuperDart charge which can charge the phone to 100% in 47 mins. realme 8 Pro features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner. realme 8 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G Mobile Platform and is available in three colours – Infinite Blue, Infinite Black and Illuminating Yellow, priced at Rs. 17,999 (6GB+128GB) and Rs. 19,999 (8GB+128GB). The first sale for Infinite Blue and Infinite Black colour is scheduled today, March 25th, from 12:00 noon onwards on realme.com, Flipkart.com & mainline channels. The Illuminating Yellow colour will be available for sale soon.

realme 8 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 Gaming Processor and is equipped with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint scanner. It comes with a 5000mAh battery with a 30W Dart charger which can charge to 100% in 65 minutes. There is a 64-megapixel AI primary camera with other lenses and a 16-megapixel in-display Selfie Camera. realme 8 comes in two colours, Cyber Silver and Cyber Black and is available in three storage variants, priced at Rs. 14,999 (4GB+128GB), Rs. 15,999 (6GB+128GB) and Rs. 16,999 (8GB + 128GB). The first sale is scheduled for today, March 25th from 12:00 noon onwards on realme.com, Flipkart.com and other channels.

Both, these smartphones, realme 8 Pro and realme 8 are the first phones to come with realme UI 2.0 out of the Box. Along with these devices, realme also announced the realme Smart Scale and realme Smart Bulb.

realme Smart Scale

realme Smart Scale allows users to manage their weight and body fat scale. It adopts a high-precision BIA sensor that can obtain information about the user’s body by using a professional algorithm that includes body fat, muscle, and other aspects and can even detect a small 50g change in the body weight.

realme Smart Scale can detect 16 different health-related data that includes BMI, Muscle Mass, Body Age, and many others. These data points give users a comprehensive picture of their body and share valuable information for them to check the health condition of their body. Different data points can help a user understand which part of his body needs more work so that he can start working towards building a healthier body. Measuring the weight of a person is only the most basic feature, the realme Smart Scale also supports real-time heart rate monitoring. realme smart scale can accurately measure items between 0.05 kg (or 50g) and 9.99 kg and runs on 4xAA batteries. With the battery and super high-power efficiency, one can use the realme Smart Scale without changing the battery for around 360 days.

The scale is equipped with the latest Bluetooth 5.0 technology, which allows it to quickly connect to the realme link App to sync users’ body data and generate data reports. The scale also supports connecting to up to 4 smartphones, making it a smart scale for all the family members. realme Smart Scale will be available in two colours – Trendy Blue and Classic White and will be priced at Rs. 1,999. The first sale is scheduled for March 30th from 12:00 noon onwards on Flipkart, realme.com, Amazon and it will also be available in mainline stores soon.

realme Smart Bulb

realme Smart Bulb supports 16 million colours and a wide range of colour temperatures from crisp cool shades to warmer tones. The light is precisely controlled by a special dimmer chip which makes it non-flickering, and thus effectively protects your eyes. There are a variety of options to suit one’s mood, from cosy nights to bright and clear mornings, users will be able to set an ambience to match their needs. realme Smart Bulb even supports Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control and the user will be able to change the lights with a simple voice command.

Further realme link support will give users more functions like adjusting brightness, colour, making light groups, choose between the many preset moods, or customize a mood setup according to their needs.

realme Smart Bulb is extremely reliable, features a lifespan of up to 13 years and comes with a full two years of warranty. It also supports a wide voltage input and has surge protection built right in. The body is also made of high-temperature flame-retardant materials for all-around safety. It will be available in two variants – 9W priced at Rs. 799 and 12W priced at Rs. 999. The first sale is scheduled for March 30th from 12:00 noon onwards on Flipkart, realme.com, Amazon and it will also be available in stores soon.
