With everyone working and learning from home, PC manufacturers are going through the most demanding times. As per IDC India, 3.4 million units of PCs were shipped in 3Q20, setting a new milestone. While Xiaomi (read Mi) had introduced its series of Mi Notebook last year, the notebooks did not feature an integrated webcam, which has become most essential, thanks to online meetings and video conferences in the remote working era. Although it bundled a USB powered webcam free with the notebooks, many opined that it was a hassle to carry it as a separate device and this would have definitely put away potential buyers from making the final purchase of a Mi Notebook.
Enter 2021 and Xiaomi has now launched the Mi Notebook with an integrated 720p web camera. Powering this notebook that is MI Notebook 14 (IC) is the same 10th gen Intel Core i5-10210U Comet Lake processor, 8GB RAM and up to 512GB of SATA SSD storage. There will be also a model with NVIDIA GeForce MX250 discrete graphics processor. The Mi Notebook 14 (IC) comes with a 65W fast charger that charges the notebook from 0 to 50% in just over 35 mins.
Mi NoteBook 14 (IC) 256GB storage variant that comes with Intel UHD graphics retails for Rs. 43,999, the 512GB version with Intel UHD and NVIDIA MX250 GPU retails for Rs.46,999 and Rs. 49,999 respectively.
