Dell launches its gaming desktop series, G5 in India

Dell has expanded its PC gaming portfolio in India with the launch of G5 gaming desktops. The Dell G5 (5090) features a compact form factor with upgradability of components.

The new Dell G5 is the first gaming desktop in the G series. G5 can support up to 9th Gen Intel Core i9 processors and i9 K-series CPUs, VR-capable NVIDIA GeForce GTX and RTX graphic-cards for the best gaming experience. It also comes with Killer Gigabit Ethernet + Killer Wireless technology for online gaming and seamless connectivity. To make upgrades easy, the CPU, GPU, memory and hard drives can be easily accessed for upgrading by just removing two thumbscrews.

As per Dell, the G5 has a gamer-inspired design with Blue LED lighting and optional clear window side panel. In terms of memory, the G5 supports up to 64GB DDR4 2666 MHz RAM. For cooling, the G5 comes with a 95W fan with a fan speed of 4500 rpm. One can select 9th Gen Intel CoreTM i5 9600K or the 9th Gen Intel CoreTM i7 9700K processor for the G5 (5090). In the graphics card department, one can select NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4GB GDDR5 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, 6GB GDDR6 or the NVIDIA GeForce RTXTM 2060, 6GB GDDR6. You can either select single or dual drive options. Single drive options include 1TB 7200 RPM 3.5“ SATA HDD + 512GB M.2 PCIe SSD, whereas the dual drive options come with 512GB M.2 PCIe SSD (Boot) + 1TB 7200RPM SATA (Storage). The G5 (5090) runs on Windows 10 and has a 460W power supply.

The Dell G5 starts at Rs. 67,590 plus GST and is available at Dell exclusive stores, select multi-brand outlets and www.dell.co.in.
