Xiaomi is the leader of Smart TV segment in India with 32% market share. Recently during Diwali, Xiaomi sold over 600,000 Mi TVs. To maintain its aggressive position in the market, Xiaomi announced the 2020 Edition of the Mi TV 4x (55). The successor to the Mi TV 4X (55) Pro, the 2020 Edition features a 4K 10-bit HDR display along with Xiaomi’s in-house image processing algorithm, Vivid Picture Engine. There are 20W speakers certified for Dolby Audio and DTS-HD.
The Mi TV 4X (55) 2020 Edition comes with Xiaomi’s TV interface known as PatchWall 2.0 running on Android 9 Pie. The TV also has native support for Netflix, Hotstar and Amazon Prime Video. Being an Android TV, it also features Google Assistant, YouTube, Chromecast, Google Play Store and Data Saver.
The Mi TV 4X (55) 2020 Edition is priced aggressively at Rs. 34,999 and can be purchased from 2 December 2019, 12 noon on Mi.com, Amazon and Mi Home. Customers buying Mi TVs on or till 31st January 2020 will be eligible for an Airtel DTH connection with 4 months subscription at Rs. 1,800 as compared to the regular price of Rs. 3,450.
