OPPO had made the Reno2 official with the launch of Reno2 series. This time there are three phones in the Reno2 series, Reno2, Reno2 Z and Reno2 F. With Reno2 being the top specd variant of the three.
The devices are powered by Snapd730G chipset, 8GB RAM and 2568GB of internal storage. The highlight of the phone are the quad cameras, that feature 48-megapixel main camera, 13-megapixel telephoto lens, 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and 2-megapixel mono lens. Most importantly the phone boasts a 5x hybrid zoom and 20x digital zoom. It comes with Ultra Dark mode to capture better shots in low light conditions. The front shark-fin style camera is 16-megapixel.
The Reno2 has a 6.5-inch AMOLED display and also features in-display fingerprint sensor. The battery of the phone is 4000mAh and supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology by OPPO. The phone comes in Ocean Blue and Luminous Black and is priced at Rs. 36,990. The phone runs on Android 9 with Color OS 6.1. It also features the 3.5-mm headphone jack.
The other variant, the Reno2 Z also comes with the same quad camera setup and 16-megapixel front camera, however, it is a rising camera and comes with MediaTek P90 processor, 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The screen size of the phone is 6.53-inch and the Reno2 Z is priced at Rs. 29,990.
The Reno2 F, the last in the series, will be available in November. It specifications are same as the Reno2 Z, however, the processor in the phone is MediaTek P70 and comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Both the Reno2 and RenoZ will be available on Flipkart and Amazon.
Along with the Reno2 series, OPPO also announced its brand-new neckband headphones today: the OPPO Enco Q1 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones. The Enco Q1 headphones use hybrid active noise cancellation, in which feed-forward and feedback microphones work together with a noise cancelling algorithm to maximally block out surrounding noise.
The headphones also boast dynamic driver units with 11.8 mm composite diaphragms, in addition to support for AAC format, three immersive 3D audio modes, and audio tuning developed by a specialized acoustics team. The headphones use a USB-C charging port, and can continuously play audio for 15 hours with noise cancelling on, or 22 hours with noise cancelling off.
