Lenovo launched two new smart home products, the Lenovo Smart Clock and Lenovo Smart Display in India. Lenovo Smart Clock features Google Assistant built-in and features a 4-inch IPS screen. It supports voice and touch controls.
As a convenient smart home device, the Lenovo Smart Clock supports voice and touch controls on an unobtrusive 4-inch IPS screen to perform tasks that are regularly carried out before and after sleep. With its compact size built for sitting on nightstands, the Lenovo Smart Clock blends into your bedroom decor, with a full fabric soft-touch cover and a touch screen. Touted as the bedside Google Assistant, Lenovo Smart Clock can be set up for sleep routines. You can control your smart devices via the Smart Clock, like dimming your smart light, displaying your schedule, viewing connected cameras and more. It can display information like time and alarm, schedule, weather information and can also play music. There is a full-range 6W speaker for music and audio. The Lenovo Smart Clock also works with Chromecast, so you can stream shows and music on your TV or speakers with just your voice. The screen can also be used as a digital photo frame that can be directly streamed from your Google Photos. In short, the Lenovo Smart Clock is a mini version of the Google Nest Hub which is also available in India from today.
Another product for the connected home or Internet of Things (IOT) from Lenovo is the Smart Display. This is a 10-inch screen device that lets you control your smart devices at home. You can watch videos from YouTube and get information of your upcoming events, weather updates, reminders and view your shopping list. For the Kitchen, Smart Display brings you step-by-step recipe instructions that are powered by Google Search and YouTube. With Google Duo built-in, you can use the Smart Display to have video calls as well. Smart Display can also be used a a digital photo frame displaying photos from your Google Photos account.
The Lenovo Smart Clock price starts from Rs. 5,999 and the Smart Display starts at Rs. 14,999. The devices will be available online on Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital and also offline at Lenovo stores from early September.
