OPPO to launch Reno2 on 28 August in India

OPPO in its tweet revealed that it will launch the successor to the OPPO Reno, the OPPO Reno2 in India on 28 August 2019. Featuring a quad camera setup, the Reno2 will up the camera zoom to 20x as compared to 10x found in current generation Reno.

There are two variants of the current phone, the OPPO Reno and OPPO Reno 10x zoom. At this point it is not clear whether the OPPO Reno2 series will also have two devices, one with 20x zoom and one without the optical zoom capability. The current Reno 10x zoom phone is powered by Sanpdragon 855, it would be interesting to see if the Reno 20x zoom will feature Snapdragon 855 Plus processor.
