Intel launched 11 new 10th Gen Core processors. These processors are designed for 2-in-1s and laptops. The new processors provide high-performance artificial intelligence (AI) to the PC at scale, feature new Intel Iris Plus graphics, Intel Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+) and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity.

The new generation processors come with Intel Deep Learning Boost that accelerates neural networks on the CPU for maximum responsiveness in scenarios such as automatic image enhancements, photo indexing, and photorealistic effects. It also supports up to 1 teraflop of GPU engine computes which will be liked by video editors. Besides this, the Intel Guassin and Neural Accelerator (GNA) will handle background workloads like voice processing and noise suppression consuming ultra-low power and is easy on battery.

For video content creators, the new processors come with Intel Iris Plus graphics that makes editing 4K video, high-resolution photo processing and gaming more enjoyable. These are the first GPUs from Intel to support VESA’s Adaptive Sync display standard and GPU variable rate shading, which enables a smoother gaming experience across games like Dirt Rally 2.0 andFortnite and also improved video rendering.

For manufacturers, these new processors offer increased board integration to develop sleeker designs on various form factors. The processors, code-named “Ice Lake,” are the first to debut in the 10th Gen Intel Core processor family and will be available in new designs from PC manufacturers for the holiday season.
