Amazon launches the Echo Show in India

Amazon has expanded its Echo line of devices in India with the launch of Echo Show. This is the second Echo device from Amazon to feature a display but unlike the Echo Spot that had a small screen, the Echo Show is equipped with a 10-inch HD (1280×800) display.

Echo Show has all the smarts, thanks to Alexa that allows controlling of smart home devices with the built-in smart hub, hands-free calling with other Echo and Skype users, play videos from Prime Video and even allows web browsing with the built-in web browser.

Amazon has also added accessibility features like captioning, magnifying the screen, toggle colour inversion and even VoiceView screen reader.

Amazon is currently selling the Echo Show at Rs. 22,999 and is bundling the Philips Hue bulb for a limited time.
