LG is generally the first company to announce their products at CES 2019 and the company just wowed the attendees with its rollable OLED TV. Dubbed LG SIGNATURE OLED TV R (model 65R9), the TV takes advantage of LG’s expertise in OLED TVs. The OLED TV R offers three different viewing options – Full View, Line View and Zero View.
Full View is your regular TV watching experience that brings LG’s ThinQ AI to make the TV smart. It’s powered by a second generation Alpha 9 processor and brings support for Amazon Alexa and interestingly, Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit. LG is the second company to get Apple AirPlay 2 support.
Line View allows the OLED TV R to be partially unrolled and allows for specific tasks like show Clock, Frame, Mood, Music and Home Dashboard.
Zero View completely rolls down the 65-inch TV tonhide and blend with the home furniture. The TV will be able to play audio in Zero View, thanks to its 4.2-channel, 100W front-firing Dolby Atmos audio system.
