Xiaomi announced the Mi Mix 3 with a manual slider mechanism which provides it a full screen display with thin bezels. The magnetic sliding mechanism has a life expectancy of 300,000 cycles. The screen size is 6.39-inch with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a 93.4% screen-to-body ratio. The front camera is hidden due to the slide mechanism. It has a dual-front camera, 24-megapixel and 2-megapixel with selfie light. The rear dual cameras are 12-megapixels with optical zoom and OIS support. The phone also supports 960 fps slow motion video recording.
The phone runs on Snapdragon 845 processor and has a 256GB internal storage. It also supports wireless fast-charging and Xiaomi bundles one in the retail box.
There are two versions of the phone, the regular version comes with 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB options. The special Palace Museum Edition features a whopping 10GB RAM. The phones have been announced in China and Xiaomi should consider it launching in India as well. The 6GB/128GB version in China is priced at ~Rs. 35,000, 8GB/128GB version for Rs. 38,000 and the 8GB/256GB version for Rs. 43,000. The special edition with 10GB version will cost Rs. 53,000 approximately.
