OnePlus has today rolled out the final stable release of the OxygenOS 9 based on Android Pie, Google’s latest operating system. After the Developer Preview and Open Beta release, this release comes in a decent time for OnePlus 6 users. With this release, Oxygen OS is bumped to version 9, corresponding to the Android OS version. The update brings in new Android Pie UI, adaptive battery support, Android Pie gesture navigation and other more features. The Android security patch of the phone is now updated to September 2018.
This OTA is a staged rollout for limited number of users and will gradually be available for other users, after ensuring that there are no critical bugs.
