OPPO’s sub-brand Realme that focuses on value-for-money devices launched the Realme 1 successor, the Realme 2. Powered by Snapdragon 450 processor, the phone has a 6.2-inch notch display with 19:9 aspect ratio. The phone comes in two versions, 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB. There are dual rear cameras, 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel and front camera is 8-megapixel. The cameras support Bokeh effect and Portrait mode.
Realme 2 comes with 4230mAh battery with AI Power Master, which can smartly allocate processor resources for running and in-background apps and reduces overall power consumption to 5%-11%. The phone also features Face unlock and Fingerprint unlock. It runs on ColorOS 5.1 (OPPOs UI) on Android Oreo. This is a 4G phone which supports dual-SIM and also a microSD card.
The phone will be available in Red and Black colour at the launch, while the Black colour will be available in October. The 3GB/32GB version retails for Rs. 8,990 and the 4GB/64GB version for Rs. 10,990. The phone will be available on Flipkart exclusively from September 4 onwards.
