Sony India launches UBP-X700 4K HDR Blu-ray Player

Sony has expanded its Blu-ray player lineup with the new UBP-X700. It’s a 4K Blu-ray player that supports HDR10 out of the box but also gains support for Dolby Vision via a firmware update. 

In addition to playing 4K Blu-ray discs, the device also supports streaming via popular services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube and variety of video and music format support like MP4, AVCHD, DSD, FLAC, etc.

Furthermore, the player supports upscaling Full HD content to 4K, Dolby Atmos and even DTS-X support. 

The UBP-X700 is now retailing at Rs. 27,990.
