Xiaomi has been teasing the pictures from Mi A2 since its official launch in Spain. In India, the device will be launching tomorrow on Amazon India. However, a Twitter user @skylord007iii was able to add the upcoming device in the cart on Amazon India app and the price for the same was Rs. 17,499. Of course, this was by mistake from Amazon India, however, we now know that the Mi A2 64GB version will retail for Rs. 17,499. Considering the price, it is sure that Xiaomi wants to undercut Honor’s recent launch, Honor Play phone.
The Mi A2 is a unibody phone made of aluminum. The phone is 7.3mm and features a 5.99-inch 18:9 FHD+ display and is protected by a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 panel. In terms of the hardware, the Mi A2 is powered by Snapdragon 660 processor. The device will retail in three variants, 4GB+32GB, 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB. The Mi A2 features 12-megapixel (Sony IMX486 sensor) and 20-megapixel (Sony IMX376 sensor) dual-cameras. Both have f/1.75 aperture and a larger pixel size. The front selfie camera is 20-megapixel with HDR and soft selfie light. The device does not feature a 3.5-mm audio jack and also lacks microSD card support for storage expansion.
