When Xiaomi announced their first 55-inch TV last month, we were surprised that Xiaomi did not have an option for a smaller-sized variant. Well, that’s changed now. Xiaomi today announced the Mi TV 4A and it will come in display sizes of 32- and 43-inches. We admit it’s not as good looking as its larger and more expensive sibling, Mi TV 4 but the new TVs come with Xiaomi’s PatchWall OS made specifically for the Indian market.
It packs the same PatchWall goodness like support for 15 content partners that offers 500,000+ hours of content, 12 Indic languages support and controlling the set-top box with its 11-button Mi remote. Both TVs are powered by Amlogic’s quad-core SoC, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Both TVs have 20W sound output along with DTS support, Wi-Fi and Ethernet.
The 32-inch supports 1366×768 resolution whereas the 43-inch supports 1920×1080 (Full HD). The smaller TV comes with 2 USB 2.0 ports, 3 HDMI ports and earphone out whereas the 43-inch variant sports 2 USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 ports, 3 HDMI ports, S/PDIF and earphone support.
The Mi TV 4A (43) is priced at Rs. 22,999 while Mi TV 4A (32) is priced at Rs. 13,999 and will sell bi-weekly every Tuesday and Friday from March 13th on mi.com, Mi Store and Flipkart.
