Micromax has confirmed that they’ll be the first company to launch a phone in India running Android Oreo Go Edition. There’s no info on the exact hardware or how it will look but Micromax has confirmed that the Bharat Go will go on sale by the end of this month.
Android Oreo (Go edition) announced by Google brings Android experience to entry-level smartphones. Google will optimise all its apps to make it lighter in terms of storage and smoother to run on devices having 1GB or less of RAM.
Android Oreo (Go edition) comes with built-in data manager, Google Assistant, and Google Play Protect to protect the device from malicious apps.
