Sony is back again confirming how well its PS4 console is doing. According to the release, Sony moved 5.9 million units during the 2017 holiday season taking the worldwide cumulative sales of the console to 73.6 million units.
More hardware in the market means more game sales, which stands at 645 million copies globally till December 31, 2017, including 55.9 million games during the 2017 holiday season.
Sony currently sells the regular PS4, which is slimmer and power efficient than the original PS4; a powerful and more expensive PS4 Pro; and PlayStation VR that brings virtual reality to PS4 System.
