Sennheiser kicks off CES 2018 with the new HD 820 closed-back dynamic headphones. The new headphones claim to deliver “transparent sound”, thanks to the unique glass transducer cover. HD 820’s Ring Radiator transducers are covered with a curved Gorilla glass to reduce resonance.
Moreover, the German-manufactured headphones come with a metal headband with an inner damping element, silver-cladded OFC cables and gold-plated plugs and non-allergic synthetic leather pads along with microfiber to cushion and insulate the ambient noise.
Sennheiser will start selling the HD 820 in Europe and US from early summer 2018 for €2,399 EUR and $2,399.95 respectively.
