After announcing the Mi A1 in India last week, Xiaomi, in its hometown, announced their second generation bezel-less phone. The Mi Mix 2 looks as stunning as the previous generation and comes in an ultra-thin aluminium frame, curved ceramic body and super black lens coating on the front to hide the front facing camera and proximity sensor. Xiaomi has even managed to reduce the chin size by 12 percent.
The phone features a 5.99-inch 18:9 display and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor, and 6GB of RAM. The phone also comes with 43 bands for global LTE support. On the camera front, it packs a Sony IMX386 sensor at the back, which is the same as Mi 6.
Xiaomi will bring the device in multiple variants that will differ in storage space with the 64GB variant priced at 3299RMB followed by 128GB and 256GB variants at 3599RMB and 3999RMB respectively. Xiaomi will also bring a Mi Mix 2 Special Edition with a full ceramic body in white. The Special Edition has an 8GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage.
Interestingly, Xiaomi has confirmed that they will launch the phone in the Indian market.
