Western Digital has announced a 400GB microSD card

Western Digital has announced a new microSD card for mobile devices at the IFA in Berlin. They have upped the ante by announcing a 400GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I microSD card. The previous highest-capacity available from SanDisk was 200GB and Samsung at 256GB but this is the world’s highest right now that can hold up to 40 hours of Full HD video and transfer speeds of up to 100MB/s, which is fast enough to transfer 1,200 photos in a minute.

The card also supports SanDisk Memory Zone app that allows users to easily locate, organise, transfer and back up data, including tagged content from Facebook and Instagram.

The 400GB microSD card comes with a 10-year limited warranty and is priced at $249.99 in the US.

    Which android phone supports 400GB of microSD cards? Will Note 8 support 400 GB Sd card as the official website says it will only support sd card upto 256 gb.

      If the device suports microSDXC format, it should support this card as well.
